As promised (and requested by many), this entry, I’ll be sharing about my experience in home stay which I would highly recommend my readers to try out at least once in your life time.
Travelling by Car; From Malacca Town to Kampong Asahan: 57 minutes
Home Stay Accommodation
Asahan is a small village which is located in between Malacca and the Johor State. It is well known for its waterfall as well as its ledged mountain: Mount Ophir or the Gunung Ledang. Morning chills tickling down your spine could be felt greatly as location of the home stay is situated near the foot of the Gunung Ledang.

For as low as SGD $40 per night, be indulged by the traditional Kampong way of living and experience true Malaysian lifestyle.
Not to worry, the villagers there do give great hospitality although we are a complete stranger to them. They are also eager to share their daily lifestyle of what they had experience in the kampong life.
If you have the chance, you are able to visit their personal farm (to eat harvested fruits!) like myself.

By staying at a Kampong environment, I also have an opportunity to be closer to nature.

I also got an opportunity to witness a Traditional Malay Wedding where it coincidently coincides with the days that I’m spending there. What a fortunate experience!
So let these pictures do its magic!

So cool, you can actually caress the chicken without it like pecking you? And being close with nature is indeed wonderful. I would love to experience what you did !
